DIY Calendar Blog Hop…June!

Welcome to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop. The Hop goes live on the 1st of the month. We hop and share how we decorated our calendars. The calendar template was created by Anne- the Maui Stamper and you can order your own calendar template by clicking HERE.

We made it to June! Did you have a crazy busy May aka Maycember? Well, it is now time to kick back a bit and relax. In our household we are finding our summer rhythm. Enjoying the warmer weather and longer days.

My calendar this month celebrates all the beautiful blooms of June and taking time to relax. The blooms on my calendar are from the Extraordinary Flora Washi tape. They were cut out using the Extraordinary Flora die. I applied a section of the washi tape to some Basic White CS and then cut them out using the die. This is an easy way to have lots of flowers and leaves to arrange. I just kept on layering the flowers and leaves to the calendar until I was happy with the results.

The sentiment is from the Splash & Relax stamp set. I inked it with Mossy Meadow ink and stamped it on a Basic White CS cut with one the smallest Stylish Shapes circle die. I tucked the sentiment in among the flowers. The Flirty Flamingo dots are from the Array of Dots.

A close up of the washi tape flowers, sentiment and dots. I enjoyed arranging the flowers, it was quite relaxing. Hope this month brings lots of time to kick back and do what you enjoy.

Now it is time to see what Anne and Cheryl have created for their calendars.

Thank you for stopping by!
