Fragrant Layers Made With Love

It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge. This week we have a sketch challenge.

It is funny how things work out. I had the Made With Love DSP out and decided I was going to use it for this week’s challenge. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off or not since in my mind I have it labelled as a Valentine’s paper. There are lots of non heart patterns in the pack so I decided to give it a try.

What do you think? Does it look too much like a Valentine’s card?

  • Thick Basic White CS card base 4-1/4″ x 11″
  • Made with Love DSP 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Real Red CS 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Made with Love DSP 2″ x 4-1/2″
  • Flirty Flamingo CS 1-3/4″ x 4″
  • Basic White CS circle cut using the Ornamental Christmas dies (Last Chance list)
  • Fragrant Layers die colored with Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends
  • Sentiment from the Fragrant Layers set inked in Tuxedo Black Memento
  • Real Red Shiny Ribbon (Last Chance list)
  • Scattered rhinestones

Inside a portion of the large floral colored with Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and a strip of Made with Love DSP.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Stamping Friends created with this sketch.

  1. I love your card! I think you were very successful using “Valentine” paper for a non-Valentine card.
