Fragrant Layers Just A Note

It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge. This week it is Sketch Challenge and I love this one.

After I made my card I realized wasn’t as faithful to the sketch as I thought. The spirit of the sketch is there.

Once again I used the Fragrant Layer bundle (January Online Exclusive). One of the reasons I bought this set was to be able to do different coloring techniques. I love 2 Step Stamping and solid stamps but I also enjoy coloring., so I did a little watercoloring. It was so fun to do.

• Secret Sea CS card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.
• Basic White CS embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing folder (one of my faves!).
• Mixed Up Patterns Mix-In DSP.
• Pretty in Pink CS strip.
• Fragrant Layer image heat embossed with white embossing powder on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
• Image colored using Water Painter, Granny Apple Green, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight ink refills.
• Fragrant Layers sentiment embossed in white embossing powder on Secret Sea CS.
• White Baker’s Twine bow behind the sentiment.

• Basic White CS layer 4″ x 5-1/4″.
• 1″ strip of Mixed Up Patterns Mix-In DSP.
• Watercolored Fragrant Layers flower and leaf.
