Oh My Fright

It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge. We are continuing with the CASE the Catalog Challenge and this week the inspiration can be found on page 38 of the May-August 2026 catalog.

What catches your eye about this card? For this challenge you can choose to be inspired by the stamp set, the layout, the colors, really, just about anything. Can you tell what inspired my card?

I was inspired by the layout and specifically the big scallop. I very roughly followed the layout.

• Basic Gray CS card base 4-1/4″ x 11″.
• Frightfully Fun DSP layer 4″ x 5-1/4″.
• Smoky Slate CS cut using the Scalloped Blooms die (#6 die, #1 being the smallest die).
• Basic Black CS tree cut using the Oh My Fright dies.
• Basic Black CS bats cut using the Oh My Fright dies.
• Sentiment from the Oh My Fright stamp set inked in black ink on Basic White CS and cut using a tag from the Scalloped Blooms dies.
• Ghost inked in black ink on Basic White CS using a die from Oh My Fright dies.
• Crushed Curry CS stars cut using the Oh My Fright dies. Wink of Stella brushed over the stars for a little shimmer.

• Basic White CS layer 4″ x 5-1/4″.
• Frightfully Fun DSP strip 1″ x 4″.
• Bat from the Oh My Fright set inked in black cut out using the Oh My Fright dies.
• Happy Halloween sentiment from the Oh My Fright set inked in black.
