DIY Calendar Blog Hop: November

It is the first of the month which means it is time for the DIY Calendar blog hop!  On the first of every month we get together and share our calendar page for the month.  The calendar template was created by Anne aka the Maui Stamper. If you are interested in purchasing the calendar template please contact Anne.

What is one of the first things you think about when you think of November? I think for a lot of people we think about Thanksgiving and gathering with family and/or friends to share a meal. The meal will often feature a turkey. Here is my high fiber, low calorie version.

  • The wall paper behind the turkey is from the Timeless Plaid DSP.
  • The turkey was made using dies from the following sets-Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder, Delightful Wishes, and Perfectly Pears. The turkey was made using Pecan Pie CS. The edges around the turkey was “basted” with Pecan Pie ink.
  • The turkey pan was cut from Cherry Cobbler CS using a Branching Out die.
  • The sentiment on the pan is from the Banner Sayings stamp set which will make its debut on November 4th. The sentiment was inked with Versamark and heat embossed using white embossing powder.
  • The gem is from the Faceted Snowflakes. Don’t you have gems on your roasting pan?

Please go and check out what everyone else made for November.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! And oh yes, I have gems all over the house! My roasting pan looks like it’s been attacked by the Bedazzler (any old people out there who remember the Bedazzler???) This is so fun.
