Stampers Dozen Blog Hop…Move Me

Welcome to the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!  We are all Stampin' Up!® demonstrators who have joined together to form this fun group.  The hop occurs every month on the 14th at 7 pm (PST).   This month the theme for our hop is Move Me.  Enjoy the hop and seeing how we "moved".

I recently received the Be Jolly stamp set from the 2021 July-Dec Stampin' Up!® Mini Catalog.  I have been trying to resist this adorable set but the images are just too cute so I finally caved and welcomed him to the family.    One of the Santas in the set looks like he is dancing or shaking with glee so I decided he would be perfect for the Move Me theme.

I started with a  4" x 5-1/4" piece of Balmy Blue CS.  I did a little bit of color blending using the Blending Brushes first in Balmy Blue and then in Misty Moonlight ink.  After a bit of blending I embossed the top half  with the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  I created the "snowbanks" by cutting some Basic White CS with the Basic Borders Dies.  The "snow" was made by adding a bit of water to some White Craft ink and splattering it on.  The tree was fussy cut, it really isn't very fussy at all and colored using Stampin' Blends.   Santa was also fussy cut and colored with Stampin' Blends.

I added a Wobble behind Santa to make him shake.  I purchased the Wobble on Amazon.  There are 2 sizes of Wobbles available.  I used the mini one behind Santa.
