Manly Monday: By the Tide

I know the By the Tide set is retired but I hope that you will still be interested in this card.  Maybe you too own the set and are not ready to let it go.  I don't (at least not yet!) have many manly type stamp sets and still really like By the Tide.

I did use the new Layering Squares Framelits.  I was a little skeptical but I LOVE these framelits and plan to get all the other shapes.  I am going to do a whole post just on these framelits.

Doesn't the card stock color look like Soft Sky?  In real life it is Pool Party.  I fiddled with the photo and even took new pictures and finally gave up.

I plan to occasionally share new projects using retired stamp sets and accessories.  I am going through all of my retired sets trying to decide what sets I need to keep and which ones I will sell, so someone else can enjoy.  If you have any questions about the projects or the stamp sets please let contact me or leave me message.

  1. Thanks for the great card. I’ve had this stamp set on my wish list forever and finally got it just before it retired. So, I appreciate seeing more cards made with this stamp.
