DIY Calendar Blog Hop: January 2026

Happy New Year! Welcome to 2026. Did you stay up to welcome in the new year? The DIY Calendar Blog Hop goes live on the 1st of the month. We hop and share how we decorated our calendars. The template was created by Anne- the Maui Stamper and you can order your own calendar template by clicking HERE.

Do you set goals, resolutions or choose a word as a guiding principal? I am still working on what I want to accomplish this year. The one thing I do know is that I want this year to be joyful.

The stamp set is Hope Love & Joy. This set/bundle will be debuting in the Jan-April 2026 Mini Catalog which will go live on January 6th. This set was inspired by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Evie DiPiazza. When I saw this set I knew I needed it. The other words in the set are Hope and Love but you probably already guessed that. There are different icons that can be used in place of the O. There are hearts, stars, dove, snowflake, and more. This is a bundle and the dies cut out the different icons and more.

The sentiments (both from the Hope Love Joy set) were inked in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The earth was colored using Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The tiny hearts were cut from Real Red CS using the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder and dies. There are two sizes of hearts in the Hope Joy & Love dies but I wanted the hearts to be tiny for the calendar.

Are you wondering why the earth looks so shiny? I first brushed on some Wink of Stella then I covered the earth with a Fine-Tip Glue Pen and set it aside to dry. It dries clear, glossy and a little sparkly from the Wink of Stella. It is a fun little extra.

Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check how everyone else decorated their calendars.
