DIY Calendar Blog Hop…December

It is the first of the month which means it is time for the DIY Calendar blog hop!  On the first of every month we get together and share our calendar page for the month.  The calendar template was created by Anne aka the Maui Stamper. This month I am going clean and simple. I used the Branching Out stamp set inked in Early Espresso, Garden Green and Real Red. The sentiment is from the Peace on Earth stamp set. When I look at the calendar I want to feel calm and reminded of what is important. I know how easy it is to get caught up in the busyness of the season and I hope this will be a good reminder for me.

Are you thinking, those berries are looking mighty shiny? Thank you for noticing. After I stamped the berries I covered the with glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. I love the extra little shine and dimension. The glue does take some time to dry so put them aside for a while before touching them.
