Around the World on Wednesday blog hop

Welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday blog hop!  We are a group of international Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators who have gathered together for a monthly blog hop.  The blog hop goes live on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.   Join us and enjoy a hop around the world!

The Around the World on Wednesday blog hop is celebrating its 5 year anniversary. In celebration the hop is CASEing a team member. When I looked at the theme for this month I found out it was me that the team was CASEing. OH my did my face turn red and I started to get that nervous feeling. I am so embarrassed to say that It has been quite a while since I have participated in this blog hop. I debated whether to participate or not but decided that I wanted to start hopping again and it would be easy to CASE myself. Thank you Angie and Cheryll (leaders of the hop) and I will do better and hop more often. In addition the theme is This or That all wrapped up in gratitude.

Do you recognize where the first 2 images are from? It is from one of my favorite stamp sets, Rustic Centerpiece. This stamp set doesn’t have any coordinating dies or punches so yes I fussy cut the sunflower and apples out. The apples looked a little bare so I borrowed some leaves from the Perfectly Pears stamp set. I also fussy cut the pear from the Perfectly Pears stamp set.

  1. Hey Sharon … It’s a funny thing to case yourself, hey?! I love both your cards, but the one with the pear and apples is definitely my fave. I love your use of space to really feature the triptych of elements.

  2. It really must be a strange feeling to see everyone CASE your work! I hope you’re pleased with the results. 🙂
I really like this layout – I might even CASE this one too! I think my favourite is the first one. Your fussy cutting is top notch. 🙂

  3. Sharon, your creations are such wonderful inspirations! Thank you for so much for letting us CASE you this month. And, I love both of these cards – the texture, the black and white with a color pop – are terrific.
