Happy 100th Festive Friday Challenge!

Happy 100th Challenge!  Yes, the Festive Friday Challenge is celebrating a big milestone…the 100th Challenge!  If you are new to the Festive Friday Challenge let me tell you a little about it.  The Festive Friday Challenge celebrates different festivities, holidays by creating an Inspo list inspired by the festivity.  To play along with the challenge all you need to do is pick 3 items from the list and use those items on your project.  I hope you will join us and post your creation in the gallery.  We love seeing how the Inspo List inspired you.

FF100

So many fun items on this list!  I chose celebration, bunting, cake (cupcakes!), numbers, and gold.

I created the bunting flags using the Stitched Triangle dies.  This die set has lots of  different sizes and shapes of triangles so you will be ready to create all different kinds of banners. The stars and flags were cut from gold foil and the new Supple Shimmer Specialty paper (page 67 of the J-J 2022 Mini Catalog) that will be debuting in the January-June Mini Catalog. The stars were cut using the dies from the Give it a Whirl dies.  This dies set is a good one to check out whenever you are looking for stars, hearts, or clouds.  The Pool Party numbers were cut using the Playful Alphabet dies.

Stampin'Up!-CreatewithFriends-FF100side

The cute little cupcakes were fussy cut out from the Measure of Love stamp set and colored using Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends.  The additional sparkle you see are the Iridescent Rhinestones also coming January 4th.  These are one of my favorite embellishments.  The sentiment is from the Create with Friends set and heat embossed in gold embossing powder.

  2. Sharon, I love those gorgeous soft, pastel colors – especially mixed with the touches of gold. What a wonderful way to celebrate the 100th challenge.
