In Colors and Array of Sunshine

Today I was shifting things around on my crafting table to ease some of the congestion and found a treasure.   Back when the 2011-2012 was brand new, Gail K (good friend and downline) cut out, glittered and layered the big flower from the Array of Sunshine hostess set in the then new In Colors.  She packaged them in a cute little box and gave them to me.  You will see that it was a lot of work  and she did a beautiful job.

Yes, each flower is made up of 3 layers all glittered and popped up with dimensionals.   I knew I did not need to do too much since the flowers are the show stopper so I just used some Whisper White card stock and Calypso Coral DSP.    The sentiment is from the Welcome box of My Paper Pumpkin.  I love this stamp.   My dear friend who passed away last fall  would always call and say "hey there"  so I knew I needed this stamp and I think about her everytime I use it.

If you are wondering aren't there 5 In Colors?  You are right.  I ran out of room on this card and so I had a Wisteria Wonder flower left to use on another card.

Pretty simple card but i am totally going to make a set of cards using this layout.   I used the same elements as the first card except i embossed the sentiment with Black embossing powder to make it stand out.  Thanks again Gail for making these gorgeous flowers for me.

These In Colors are supposed to be retiring soon but I know that the Calypso Coral and Pool Party are used in the new This and That product Suite so I assumeat least those two colors will be sticking around.   We will know more soon and I will let you know.
