FALLing for the Big Shot

Okay I know this is a corny title but what can I say?  Here is a fun project we did at my last Big Shot gathering/class.  The idea for this project came from the monthly magazine SU demonstrators receive.  I saw it and knew it was something I needed to make.

We used the Serifs Essentials Alphabet, Birds and Bloom sizzlit and the Little Leaves sizzlits.  We also used the Finial press embossing folder on a couple of the letters.  See the little leaf on the F and the L?  It is from the Autumn Days set.  To get that autumny leaf look I used a technique called "thumping".  Here's a close up of one of the leaves.

I inked up the stamp with Always Artichoke Classic ink.  Then I used the brush end of my markers( I used Ruby Red and More Mustard) and randomly thumped it onto the stamp.  Fun huh?  Make sure you do not miss another Big Shot class or any class for that matter by signing up for my newsletter.  You can also see my upcoming events on my SU Website .
