New Stamping Supplies in the house!

Is this card too much?

011 copy

Does this happen to you?  You get your order and there is all this fun new stuff that it is hard not to put everything on the first card you make.  I kept on saying less is more, edit your choices and then promptly ignored that advice and kept on going.  The  new SU Finial Press embossing folder is so cool so I had to use it. Love the Floral Fusion sizzlit die which is a great buy at $5.50, so of course I had to use that.  I just figured out how to use the new SU Clear Scallop Square die to make rectangles and smaller squares, so I had to do that too.  I will try and show more restraint on my post tomorrow but no promises since I still have the NSSF-new stamping supplies fever!

  1. Lovely card! I discovered your blog from the Stamping 411 site…love your uncluttered, elegant designs! (I do think the patterned paper on the flowers might be a little over the top lol — i understand 100% about the new stamping supplies fever.) I don’t think i would have even thought to make smaller squares or rectangles with that die (mine is due to arrive in the mail today with a whole box of New Supplies) but seeing your card, now i think i will try it. Thanks for a great inspiration.

  2. Thank you for the sweet and understanding comment! I hope that tomorrows post will show that I am on the path to recovery from my bout with NSSF (new stamping supplies fever!) I have a pretty severe case of it!
