DIY Calendar Blog Hop- July 2026

Welcome to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop. The Hop goes live on the 1st of the month. We hop and share how we decorated our calendars. The calendar template was created by Anne- the Maui Stamper and you can order your own calendar template by clicking HERE.

These ants are having a picnic to celebrate July! It is definitely the month for backyard barbecues and picnics. Let’s talk about what was used to create this month’s scene.

  • The calendar was backed with Blueberry Bushel and Poppy Parade cardstock.
  • The picnic blanket/tablecloth is a strip from the Homemade Sweetness DSP (Designer Series Paper).
  • The ants were cut from the Cute As A Bug DSP using the Sweet Bugs dies.
  • The ants were modified a bit so they could hold the burger and the skewer.
  • The burger (isn’t it yummy and cute) was put together using the BBQ Master dies. The bun was cut using Crumb Cake CS, the cheddar cheese was cut from Crushed Curry CS, the burger was cut from Pecan Pie CS, and the lettuce was cut from Garden Green CS.
  • The skewer was cut from Smoky Slate CS, the shrimp was cut from Petal Pink CS with a little bit of Calypso Coral ink shading, and the mushroom was cut from Crumb Cake CS with a bit of Pecan Pie ink shading.
  • The celebrate sentiment is from the Banner Sayings stamp set inked in Blueberry Bushel ink.
  • The Poppy Parade CS stars were cut using the Hope Love & Joy dies. The stars were covered with Wink of Stella and then a layer of Fine-Tip Glue to make them a little shimmery and glossy.

Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out how Anne & Cheryl decorated their calendar for July.
