Stampers Dozen Blog Hop…Bring On the Holidays

Welcome to the Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop! This month the theme is Bring On the Holidays. Hop along with and see what that means to us.

I am focused on Christmas. This year I resolved to get my Christmas cards made by early December. I am not there yet but I am closer than I have ever been. Hoping this will help me be less stressed and more joyful this season.

This card comes together quickly. I will be making this in other colors especially as it gets closer to December.

  • Thick Basic White CS 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″.
  • Basic White CS 4″ x 5-1/4″ embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing folder (November Online Exclusive).
  • Secret Sea CS (I know it looks black) 1″ x 5-1/4″ adhered to the embossed Basic White CS layer.
  • Emboss on the Secret Sea band the sentiment from the Jolly Holly stamp set in white embossing powder.
  • Large snowflake from the Delicate Pines set inked in Secret Sea and stamped on Basic White CS.
  • Second largest snowflake inked in Secret Sea ink and stamped off once before stamping on Basic White CS.
  • Third largest snowflake inked in Secret Sea ink and stamped off twice before stamping on Basic White CS.
  • Smallest snowflake inked in Secret Sea ink and stamped on Basic White CS.
  • Adhere the snowflakes and attach a rhinestone to the middle of the smallest snowflake.
  • Attach it to the front of the card.
  • Attach two rhinestones to the Secret Sea band.

Here’s an even quicker version! I may be making a bunch of these as my deadline gets closer.

  • Thick Basic White CS 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
  • Basic White CS 4″ x 5-1/4″ embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder.
  • Follow the same directions to ink the snowflake except in Misty Moonlight ink.
  • Ink joy from the from the Jar of Joy stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink. Stamp it on a 1/2″ x 1″ piece of Basic White CS.
  • Assemble the snowflake as usual except add the Joy strip between the top to snowflakes.
  • Adhere the snowflake to embossed layer.

Quick, easy and I hope pretty cards! Now it is time for you to check out the rest of the stops on the hop!

Thanks for stopping by!
