Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop…Knotty Ways
Welcome to the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! This month we are featuring ribbon ( get it knotty ways?!) and Christmas projects. I have 2 cards to share with you both featuring the Carols of Christmas stamp set , Card Front Builder Thinlit dies and the Metallic Edge ribbon. The Carols of Christmas stamp set and the Card Front Builder thinlits are now available for purchase. As a demonstrator I was able to pre-order stamp set and dies in July and it is a bundle that has a lot of potential. The bundle is part of the Merry Little Christmas suite of products and oh what a fabulous suite of products it is!
Aren't those trees gorgeous? They were cut using the Card Front Builder dies. I cut the trees in both Silver Foil and Silver Glimmer Paper. I love the mix of textures and shine. The sentiment is from the Christmas Pines set and I thought it fit the card so well. The ribbon is the Silver 3/8" Metalllic-Edge Ribbon. The edging on this ribbon is beautiful and because it is a satin ribbon it is soft and ties easily. I created the edge using the Swirly Scribbles thinlits. For more information on how to create this edge, go to this post for all the details.
Since I shared with you the Silver 3/8" Metallic -Edge Ribbon I thought I should also show you the Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
This card uses the Carols of Christmas stamp set and the Card Front Builder thinlit dies. The Card Front Builder dies made the great cut out detail around the edge of the card. The sentiment I heat embossed with a custom embossing powder mix that I made. I mixed Gold Embossing powder and Gold Glitter together and created the sparkly sentiment. I used the Thick Very Vanilla card stock for the base of the card. I just love all the gold on this card with just pops of Real Red.
Now it is time to head on over to see what Cheryl has created for you! I know she has some beautiful knotty ideas for you!

Sharon, I just LOVE the card with the silver trees!! And now I know how to make that curvy border, thanks to you!! I was thinking I’d have to hand cut it, which would not work out, but it’s the Swirly Scribbles!! Thanks so much for all your ideas!
Both cards are super pretty. I love the curvy border.
